We produced a GUIDE in 2003 to explain the key features of PPC2000 and SPC2000 and to provide a ready source of 'how-to' information.

The guide provides background to the documents, details the PPC2000 project process (including flowcharts and checklists) and includes a clause by clause commentary.
The GUIDE to project partnering with PPC2000 and SPC2000

PPC2000 is the first standard form PROJECT PARTNERING Contract and is the direct result of the issues highlighted in Rethinking Construction.

Launched in September 2000, it embraces a number of the radical ideas set out in the CIC Partnering Taskforce Guide to Project Team Partnering. It has been adopted on a wide variety of building and engineering projects in the public and private sectors.

PPC2000 integrates the whole team under a single multi-party contract, covers the entire duration of the procurement process and introduces effective tools to support partnered project management.

The Scottish supplement PPC(S)2000 takes account of Scottish law.

SPC2000 is the first standard form SPECIALIST PARTNERING Contract and ensures that teams can include all members of the supply chain in a partnered approach.

It complements PPC2000 and focuses on involving specialist sub-contractors in project design and risk management from the earliest possible stage. It also encourages open-book pricing and collaborative working. SPC2000 allows constructors to work with specialists in ways that are consistent with PPC2000.
SPC2000 (Amended 08) - the companion Specialist Partnering Contract  (Also available in an International version)
